When you have a scheduled appointment, our teachers do their best to honor it. We also expect you to do your best to honor it as well.
Our “official” policy for cancellations is that we don’t really have one. The only reason it is this way is because we give each of our teachers the control to deal with cancellations in the way that suits them the best. So in some cases, if you miss a lesson for any reason, that’s that — you lose the payment. In other cases, the instructor will allow you to have a make-up lesson, time permitting, or even just give you a credit for the missed lesson.
Please discuss the details with your instructor so you know what to expect. But in general, do try to be courteous and if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, most of our instructors will likely charge you. This is the norm among most service industries.
Thank you.
