Tyler DeTulleo teaches trumpet, baritone horn, french horn, conducting, composition, film scoring, music production, music notation, orchestration and arranging in Los Angeles and online. He enjoys taking a holistic approach to teaching. “A good musician is someone that can have a multitude of skills across music and life.” Tyler studied Film Scoring, Conducting, Brass, Production and Arranging at Berklee College of Music. He is most known for his strong sense of leadership and ability to work on a team with recording artists, film makers or session musicians. Tyler has experience producing and music directing for artists such as America’s Got Talent contestant Kieran Rhodes, orchestrating and copying for Film and TV projects such as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Family Guy, Disney Plus’s The Santa Clauses, and Justin Hurwitz’s Oscar Nominated score for Babylon. He has music directed for the 2024 music festival “Boston Calling” featuring headline artist Ed Sheeran, and played for Conan O’Brien’s band for the Newport Folk Festival featuring Mavis Staples. In addition to his independent work, he is a co-owner of “VLTG Collective,” a team of highly skilled music professionals who are passionate about the art of music production.
