Troy Edward teaches piano, composition, arranging, music notation, orchestration, music theory, ear training and singing in the Atlanta area and online. He has taught music privately since 2001. Troy brings extensive experience, knowledge and passion to each lesson. He can can work in a wide array of genres. His end goal is to help his students develop their unique voices. Troy is a supportive and encouraging teacher and is always available to listen, ask questions and troubleshoot with students. He is a graduate of New England Conservatory of Music with a bachelors in musical composition. Troy has studied composition, conducting and arranging with Malcolm Peyton, John Mallia, Alan Belkin and Howard Richman.
