Sahand Zare teaches violin in the San Fernando Valley and online. He discovered his love for teaching at the age of 19. With a humble approach, he has cultivated extensive teaching experience, motivating students to approach assignments seriously and employing various tools to enhance their understanding. His passion and organized teaching style helps the student reach his or her goals. Sahand studied violin with Dr. Leila Nunez-Fredell and Dr. Lorenz Gamma. Sahand earned his bachelor’s degree in 2022 and is currently in the second year of his M.M. degree in violin performance at Cal State University Northridge. In addition to his academic pursuits, Sahand serves as a dedicated violinist in the CSUN Honors String Quartet, showcasing not only his remarkable talent but also his commitment to collaborative music-making. His multifaceted musical style, influenced by both classical and Traditional Persian Music, reflects a unique and personal approach.
