Metta Beshay teaches songwriting, music production, podcasting, piano and bass in Los Angeles and online. He combines his passion for teaching children and adults with his professional background to bring you authentic real-world training. He has worked with Manny from We Three, Durand Bernarr, Neal H Pogue (Mixer for Doja cat, Tyler the creator, Outkast), Steve Baughman (Mixer for Nate Dogg, 50 Cent, Blue Face) and many others. Metta has had more than 10 private teachers himself. He has a background studying classical piano for 10 years. He played bassoon in high school. During high school, his interest veered more towards jazz piano. Metta joined the Alan Jones Academy of Music In Portland where he studied jazz on weekends. He also was the primary pianist for the high school jazz band, jazz choir, and drama production. Metta went To UC Irvine to study pre-med for 2 years but eventually decided to focus on his music career.
