Lori Lerner teaches guitar and ukulele in the San Fernando Valley. As a teacher, she determines what the student’s favorite types of music are, and uses songs from these genres to execute the lessons. Lori enjoys teaching many styles, including jazz, blues, rock, metal, classical, some country. She also enjoys working with artists, helping them to write and perform their songs. She is passionate about inspiring students to learn and enjoy the process. Lori studied classical guitar at UCLA. After college, she studied jazz guitar with Ted Greene and Emily Remler, Sal Salvador, and many other well known players and teachers. Along with playing Jazz, Lori played in many rock bands in L.A. and New York. The most successful band was a “Swing Band” based out of Florida.
