Jared Sachs teaches guitar, bass guitar, piano, drums, songwriting, music theory and ukulele in the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas. He has been teaching private music lessons in his own studio since 2012. Jared also gained teaching experience working for schools like Green Brooms Music Academy and School of Rock. One of his best attributes as a teacher is his ability to teach both young and older students of any skill level, from complete beginner to intermediate and advanced. He is a winner of Lee Ritenour’s Six String Theory international jazz guitar competition. Jared’s primary focus is as a guitarist and composer but he is quite accomplished on several other instruments. Gigging professionally since the age of 19, he has played in many groups from small group jazz to cover bands, rock and blues bands. Jared is a native of Los Angeles. The only time he did not live in Los Angeles was when he studied at the prestigious UNT jazz program in Denton, Texas. He lives in LA where he performs, teaches and records actively.
