Hejun Yang teaches piano and harpsichord in Los Angeles and Orange County. She has been teaching since 2017. She received her bachelor of music degree from China Conservatory in piano performance, MM from Temple University in piano performance, Graduate Certification in harpsichord performance at USC, and is currently pursuing DMA at USC in historical keyboard performance. Hejun is a prized participant of the 2025 American Bach Soloists Academy in San Francisco and has collaborated with Street Symphony, USC Thornton Chamber Opera, and Baroque Collegium LA. Hejun performs as a member and frequent soloist with the USC Thornton Baroque Sinfonia, exploring repertoire from early seventeenth-century Italy to late eighteenth century Germany. With the ensemble, she appeared in the Berkeley Early Music Festival, the Historical Keyboard Society of North America Conference in Claremont, CA, and The Huntington.
