Hector Quintanilla Galvan teaches drumset and latin percussion in the West San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas. He has been teaching drums since 1995. Hector blends his vast world performing experience with his spiritual instincts to offer his students a unique and powerful way to achieve their goals. He currently is an active musician, performing in Los Angeles are live and in the studio. Hector has extensive performance experience in diverse styles as in: Jazz, Latin, Rock, Pop, Funk, Country and World Music through Europe, South America and North America. He has performed with Bob Moses (New England Conservatory Faculty/Pat Metheny), Jerry Bergonzi (New England Conservatory Faculty/Dave Brubeck), Oscar Stagnaro (Berkelee College Of Music Faculty/Paquito De Rivera), Danilo Perez (Dizzie Gillespie), Enrique Iglesias, to name a few. He has performed at The Egyptian Theater Hollywood, Staples Center Los Angeles, Pasadena Rose Bowl, Catalina Jazz Club Hollywood, Lutheran Church of The Saviour Bedford Massachusetts, among others. He toured the USA with pop artist Santino Delatore. Hector has studied percussion with Gustavo Karr, Carlos Ballon, (Lima, Peru 1986-1988), Dirk Donovan, Rene Kius, (Cologne, Germany 1990-1991), Berklee College Of Music, Boston, Massachusetts, 1991-1995, National School For The Arts, Havana, Cuba, 1996-1997, Gary Chafee, John Riley, Daniel Glass and Ralph Humphrey.
