Ethan Avery teaches trumpet in Los Angeles and surrounding areas and online. He is very passionate about teaching improvisation and music theory as well as building good technique and facility on the instrument. With former instruction from greats such as Wayne Bergeron, Ingrid Jenson and Sean Jones, he has an understanding of what makes a great teacher and not just a player. Ethan Avery studied Jazz Trumpet at the Manhattan School of Music and has since played with a wide range of artists including Coldplay, and in venues such as Carnegie Hall.
