Dennis Nilsson teaches Drumset, Orchestral Percussion, Music Technology, Music Notation, Songwriting and Video Editing in the Santa Clarita Valley and online. He enjoys teaching music basics, technique, injury-prevention, theory, pro musicianship. He is well-versed in funk, jazz, soul/r&b, pop, rock, blues, latin and others. Dennis has toured the world, playing live and in the studio since 2000. He has recorded with some of the best engineers in the industry: Tom Weir (Michael Jackson, Eric Clapton, The Ramones, Joan Jett, Billy Joel), Warren Sokol (The Band Perry, Imagine Dragons, Public Enemy, The Voice), John Would (Fiona Apple, Iggy Pop, True Blood, Dexter, Gossip Girl), Sam Madill (Toto, Pink, The Mars Volta, Jeff Beck, Eddie Van Halen, Weezer), Jakob Herrman (Anthrax, Europe, Machine Head, Raised Fist, Danko Jones), Reuben Cohen (Game of Thrones, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age). Dennis has played with band/artists such as: Jaq-N-Gina, High Sunday, Fair Evenue, Alien Dance Band, The Thrills, Jimi Nelson, Tracy Dawn, Katie Dix, Chazzy, Ricky England, Rivers & Suns, Fox Violet, Side Trippers, MOA, Joe Blanchard.
