Dave Conner teaches piano, composition, orchestration, arranging, and music theory in the San Fernando Valley. He has taught piano since he was 20 and recently taken students in composition. Dave is a classically trained composer who has written for orchestras of all sizes in film, records, theatre and television. He also specializes in creating realistic sounding orchestral music with sampling technology and has worked for some of the top names in the industry including Barbara Streisand and Sting. He also did string arrangements for Gloria Trevi on an album that went to number one in the world. He has a BM degree from Cal State Long Beach. He studied composition with Harold V. Johson, conducting with Fritz Zweig, piano with Julian Musafia, Jean Kuhns, Dick Powell, Brent Pierce and John Prince.
