Bonnie von Duyke teaches Violin, Fiddle, Viola, Piano, Music Theory, Songwriting, Music Technology, Music Notation and Conducting in West Hollywood and online. She has been teaching music since 2012. She enjoys working with total beginners as well as professionals. Bonnie is a teacher, performer, contractor, and composer. Growing up, she performed for her church, community orchestras, chamber ensembles, and played the electric violin with several local bands. Bonnie was concertmaster for West Chester University Symphony, University of Delaware Symphony, as well as for chamber orchestras and opera pit. She was Music Director and Orchestra Director at Tome Private School and Concert Coordinator and teacher at The Bender School of Music. She taught college level honors students at UD and WCU. As a multi faceted musician and songwriter, Bonnie composes and performs for orchestra, band, and film and game music. She has recorded music for HBO, Netflix, Hulu, etc. She writes in the styles of jazz, funk, folk, pop, and rock. Bonnie has six years of experience contracting musicians from hiring to arranging and transposing for weddings, ceremonies, and community outreach programs.
