Benz Marston Duglio teaches cello in the San Fernando Valley. He has been teaching cello since 2015. Benz believes that musical individuality and technique go hand in hand. He is committed to help his students achieve their best potential on cello through weekly follow-ups and implementing a productive practice plan. At the age of twelve He was accepted to The Washington Conservatory of Music in our nation’s capital. Benz was a member of the National Symphony Orchestra fellowship program in DC. While a fellow, he participated in masterclasses and performances in the John F. Kennedy Center for the performing arts. He is currently working as freelance musician, teaching, and is a CSUN alumni. Benz served as the cellist for the CSUN Honors String Quartet and principal cello of CSUN symphony. Benz is also recipient of the Richard Wiegand ‘66, Marie Luise Meylan Calvert, Etude Music Club, and Goldberg Quartet Scholarships. He was also recognized by CSUN music department for outstanding cello performance and top symphony orchestra musician award.
