Aliya Zaripova teaches oboe and english horn online. Her passion is to help you play better and to discover your true talent. She will focus on technique, musicality, fingering, tone quality, rhythm training, vibrato and solo and orchestral repertoire. She has been performing since 2008. Aliya has master’s degree in oboe at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in England and a Specialist degree in oboe performance and teaching at Kazan State Conservatoire in 2017. Currently, Aliya performs in an oboe and ensemble at Kazan State Conservatoire. Prior to working at Conservatoire, she was a freelance musician and performed in over than 100 concertos as a soloist with different ensembles including State String Quartet of the Republic of Tatarstan (Russia), Kazan State Chamber Orchestra “La Primavera” (Russia), Symphony Orchestra of Kazan State Conservatoire (Russia), Kazan Chamber Orchestra “New Music” and also as an oboist in Royal Opening Gala Concert at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (England) with Mirga Grazinute-Tyla , ex-principal conductor of BBC Barry Wordsworth (“Firebird” Stravinsky and “La Valse” Ravel), Michael Seal (“The Rite of the Spring” Stravinsky), David Gordon-Shute at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Wind Orchestra and Southern Illinois University Symphony Orchestra.
