Adrien Ramos teaches piano in the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas and online. He has been a teacher since the age of 17. He started teaching at the Chopin Academy under the guidance of his teacher and is still a faculty member of the school. He teaches all levels, both in-person and online, tailoring each lesson to the individual. Since his time as a teacher many of his students have placed in, if not won, a multitude of regional and state competitions. Adrien is an award-winning Classical Pianist who plays with a focus on sound quality, touch, and color. He’s been taught following Eastern European traditions under Roza Yoder, one of the most successful music teachers in California who comes from a long line of influential teachers leading back to Beethoven. Since his studies with Roza, he has been a prize winner in countless competitions including the Lansum International Competition, the Liszt International Competition, and the Liana Cohen Competition. He has performed in both coasts of the US and parts of Europe including Poland, England, and Wales in venues like Zipper Hall and Krasicki’s Orangery. He spent a short time as a chamber pianist, during which he was invited to give concerts in Vienna, Prague, and Budapest. He’s received additional teaching from renowned artists such as Edward Wolanin (Professor of Piano at the Chopin University in Warsaw), Dina Yoffe (2nd prize winner of the Chopin International Competition), Eteri Andjaparidze (4th prize winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition as its youngest participant), Bernadene Blaha (Professor of Piano at USC), David Garrett and Martin Beaver (members of the LA Phil), Che-Yen Chen (Professor of Music at UCLA), and Baruch Meir (Professor of Piano from Arizona State University). He is currently studying at USC with a full scholarship. Although piano is his main passion, he also enjoys the outdoors, spending time with loved ones, and studying the art of piano.
