Miguel Castro teaches music theory and is one of the top midi and music studio technical consultants in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, and surrounding areas. His strength is that he is able to help bridge the gap between musician and computer. Mr. Castro loves to share his knowledge of music production and technology, so others can express themselves fully when it comes to writing and producing their own music. His love of producing and creating music has pushed him to manually wire studios, use analogue gear, and work extensively in Digital Audio Workstations. These Digital Audio Workstations include Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Ableton Live and others. He has also worked on several mixing consoles and continues to explore the sonic possibilities of current music technology. An alumnus of California State University, Northridge, Miguel Castro completed his Bachelor’s of Music in Commercial and Media Writing back in June 2016. He worked on his compositional and songwriting skills as a student of Professor Elizabeth Sellers. Since he has graduated he has worked with several composers in the Los Angeles area, and continues to work on his own music. His latest venture involves being a producer songwriter that works with different artists in different styles. He combines his skills as a bass player and guitarist with the power of software synths and samplers to create the music for these artists.
